What is ITO Glass used for?
Short answer - Quite a lot! The material is utilised in many industries including consumer appliances as plasma displays for LCD TVs, touch screens for mobile phones, lamps, sensor coating for cameras, and within computer components. ITO heater glass is used in naval and aviation industries.
It is also used within the security industry, in anti-theft devices and safety alert systems. There are many applications in the medical industry too, such as custom lenses for microscopes and other medical devices including IVF Workstations.
In the Transport industry, ITO Glass is used for depth detection for car brake lights, road lighting, and helps aid defrosting
within aircraft cockpit windows. It is utilised in Command/Control Screens, Ground Vehicles & Periscopes.
Fto conductive glass for laboratory use/transparent display fto glass belongs to the group of TCO (transparent conducting oxide) conductive glasses, which is a functional glass product coated with a layer of transparent FTO conductive oxide film by physical or chemical method. FTO has a good thermal stability and weather ability. FTO glass possessed a property of both low sheet resistance as well as high transmittance. It is largely used in research as development as well as industries.
FTO glass is electrically conductive and ideal for use in a wide range of devices, including applications such as opto-electronics, touch screen displays, thin film photovoltaics, energy-saving windows, RFI/EMI shielding and other electro-optical and insulating.
